I guess if I do a 40% blow up then i need to add 40% to thicknesses of wood.... I am also considering more carbon fiber than wood for spars, stringers, bulkheads etc. this would also keep it lighter...

sure can... Move the gear aft to just behind the trailing edge of the wing and buy an after market gear for the nose... you will have to cut the firewall to be able to steer the nose gear but if you...

i saw that too. Nice one. I see your 2 seat spacewalker on your avatar... my 1st large scale build was a 1 seat spacewalker in the early 90's... had it until bad crash in 2000 when elevator servo arm...
