Foam bumper

Hey, how do you put holes into the front foam bumpers of the onroad cars? I figure a drill bit will just snag up. Anybody have any ideas?

And now I'm out of the loop. I'm looking for an onroad roller that I could slowly build up as I save up more money. I mainly bash/drift with my friend.
