RE: Blue bird servo for Buggy???

I don't know about that servo itself, but other blue bird servo''s have a brittle outside case. If you get too much of a bump from hitting something the mounting tabs snap off the case.

RE: tire wear on a race day

Sugar water is water mixed with sugar. Its as simple as it sounds, when it dries out is still stays sticky. Surely everyone has spilled a drink on the floor and seen how sticky it gets when it dries.

RE: carb pulls air after half a tank is gone, what am I doing wrong??

Most likely a problem with the tank. Cracked pick up tube in the tank is the likely culprit.

RE: What on earth is this?

All the WS7 engines have a black crankcase so I dont think it is one of them. I'm very doubtful that it is an RB at all, it only has the RB WS7 2 head.

RE: Flywheel issues

You could try to hydraulic lock it to stop it from turning over. Take the glow plug out and fill it up with oil and put the glow plug back in. Just have to make sure the piston is above the ports...

RE: Just bought a GV Rex X! Problems :(

Depending on what engine it actually is, but the crackshaft should have a whole in the end of the big end journal. The spring goes inside the hole then there is also a pin that sit in the hole after...

RE: The Future of Offroad Engines?

I'm a bit sceptical about the fact they say you dont need to make any openings in the body. I assume that radiator would still need airflow acrosss it to keep it cool.

RE: is it worth it?

The c6 piston, liner and rod should work in that engine and would be easier to come by.

RE: Connecting Rod

Its also handy to remember to put the notch in the back plate at the top when you reasemble it too. Otherwise the piston will hit the back plate at bdc.

Also when a conrod breaks it can also...

RE: Air pressure

Check your needles are clean on the carby, in particular the main needle. If you leave fuel sitting around for too long it turns to jelly and gums up everything. If this has happened its probably...

RE: Quick question about fuel inlet position

Heah you guessed right. It doesn't really matter where the inlet nipple points, thats why its made that way so you can just loose it off and spin it wherever you want.

RE: my first .21 engine.....

What gearing and clutch setup are you using? That engine should have more than enough top end and should rev out better than your stock .28 or .30. But as Hoese37 say you need to tune the clutch to...

Unless there is an issue with the performance of the engine I wouldn't worry about the bearing. It doesnt matter if you have the best seals in the world the bearing is still a slip fit on the crank...
