new piston and sleeve is only about 30 bucks. take a good look at the con rod too

sorry, just saw the Ford rules sign and assumed. I am. I work at a Ford Lincoln Mercury dealer. I mainly rebuild transmissions but pretty much fix anything.

have you put a good prop on it yet? So far the grim racer 40 by 52 3 blade makes mine fly. right now don't think i want anything stronger on the sv.

Yes am finding out this hobby takes a little money. if it's not fuel, I find i am weekly ordering, rudders, drive dogs, header coolers, props, prop balancers, radio boxes, and various other things....

Yeah I'm in same boat. Ordered breakaway rudder and extra screws. ordered july 28th. only got 2 e-mails back stating order packed and ready to ship. really need rudder, so still hoping.

now you are still running the stock flexshaft. my sv-27 has a larger flexshaft and I am running a grim racer 40 by 52 3 blade which i love on that boat. I would really like to adapt the vegas to that...

Boy looking at the parts of those Go motors, they look pretty well built. If my aquacraft motor ever blows up thats what I'm getting. And no I highly doubt that James owns the company.
