WOW A123 cells give so, so, so much punch! The top speed is overall alot better since the batteries have such a smooth discharge curve compared to nimh 6-8 cell. These batteries charge pretty quick...

the vendetta have standard 12mm hexes so anything that has a 12mm hex will work pretty much. They don't with a small pin they work by fitting around an axle that has grooves cut into either side. ...

with the traxxas clutchbell you really need to make sure there is little if no play or else the clutch gets eaten unevenly and i have seen springs go in that case.

i do have a ton of 1/10th scale touring car wheels that i will probably will use on this. I even have some drifting wheels! so I am using the mamba micro pro and ammo and i ordered a 19t pinion...

Another Thing that i realized is the difference between 16% and 12% oil fuel. The 12% can be richened more without the bogging effect while the 16% fuel actually runs hotter since to reduce bogging...

You know i always used the spit test before i got a temp gun! I actually used it when it hit 290 and it didn't seem to bubble the spit off of it too quickly either. Hmm maybe my temp gun is off...

I have both the OS .18tz and the red dot and i like the os better because it is very nice on fuel and still has a good controllable amount of power.

try checking that the clutch is not broken. If the revs are low and its still rolling then that might be the problem.

i think you might need an extended chassis and motor mount for that. The easiest, most powerful alternative is the picco .26 max jl red dot. 224 on ebay and comes with the motor mount. No extended...
