I tend to find the EPA ratings on city driving to be horribly off, at least in my experience. Their highway ratings are usually pretty accurate. I'm simply trying to make the point that HP/L does...

But the big engines actually get pretty good mileage :) Come on 22MPG highway and 600HP, show me the Ferrari that does that.

I'm pretty sure his viewpoint is mostly skewed by the tax on large displacements over there. I've consistently seen that engines that don't have stupidly high volumetric efficiencies get better...

I don't recall ever hearing that an S2000 was considered difficult to drive. Nor have I heard of any special NA model, beyond the larger 2.2L engine...

I had a Hyundai once, it was an X-Mods. That stood for xtra modified. I bet it could smoke that guy's 81 Vette.

On the NJ turnpike people do 80mph in the middle lane and they'll be near 100 or more in the left lane.

Heh, the older 5 cylinder ones are much more reliable than the newer ones. Certainly not cheap, though. 75 dollars for a little piece of plastic door molding...[:@]

Well, the 0-60 is claimed at 7.5 seconds for the C230k and I can't see any Hyundai Accent of the same vintage that will do it under 10. Barely under 11 seconds. He will win easily.
