RE: Carburetor problems

Solid pushrod through a guide, don't know if it is curved, I'll have to look. I seem to remember it was pretty straight. I don't think it is binding and flexing.

Carburetor problems

On my O.S. Max 40 engine, the throttle lever retaining screw came loose and prevented my engine from operating properly. After tightening the screw, it worked fine for one day. The second time I...

2.4G receivers and batteries

I heard somewhere that you should not wrap either the 2.4G receiver or a NiMH battery in foam in your plane as they might get too hot. Is this true? How do you secure them otherwise?

Thanks...

Remove magic marker and monokote

I need to remove magic marker from my Mono-kote. Any ideas on the best way?

How about another color Mono-kote? I have some spots on my model that smudged from the iron. How can I get that...

RE: Charging a nickel-metal hydride battery

I was hoping to not have to buy another 12 volt battery as I don't want to deplete my starter battery. I guess I will have to.

Charging a nickel-metal hydride battery

The charger you get with these are just stupidly slow. Can I charge this with a 12 volt, car battery type charger? This is a small charger, 10" x 8" x 8".

RE: HobbiCo Top Fueler Mark III

Battery isn't the problem. The pump and starter work fine. There seemed to be fluid on the bottom of the housing last night when I took it apart but didn't really notice where the leak was coming...

HobbiCo Top Fueler Mark III

I have put probably 1.5 gallons through this pump and now it really pumps slow. I am talking about 2 minutes to load a Avistar tank, 6-8 oz? The lines seem fine without any cracks etc. What could...

RE: Question on Great Planes ElectriFly Triton Jr DC Computer Charger

Read my owners manual? That's too easy. :D

Why I didn't think of that is beyond me. Okay, I am at work and don't have access to it. That's my story and sticking to it.

Question on Great Planes ElectriFly Triton Jr DC Computer Charger

I emailed Great Planes and they won't answer my question. Can I use a wall charger, such as the one for my 12V lead acid battery, as my power source?

Just wondering.

RE: Servos don't move

There really was a simple reason why this happened, CHARGE THE BATTERY...and not with a wall charger. This is my first NiMH and I knew that wall chargers take a while to charge these up but 48 hours...
