RE: mamba is good...no?

5700 on 3s sounds good. Remember to put some good foam or street tires on there, and set it up with a bit of toe-in. If you really want to hit 80-90 mph, you're going to be going through diffs,...

RE: burned up mini revo

I was gonna ask the same thing as the guy above. I don't own one but I know that when you use two packs you absolutely have to switch out the pinion, otherwise it's way overgeared and you will burn...

RE: Smash bros. Brawl??

Well, before my wii broke, I would play it all the time. I used Falco for offline play. Shortly before my Wii let go I had finally mastered DACUS, Gatling, and BPG. I used MK for everything else. ...

RE: NEWBIE! I need help....

Yep those are Dhawgs. They're great on asphalt but they are terrible on loose dirt.

RE: NEWBIE! I need help....

Well then again I think that flying is a bit more expensive than cars. A good sim is a couple hundred, then a few hundred for an engine, then maybe a couple hundred for the kit, then definitely a...

RE: do you purchase on reputation?

I've heard a few bad things about Dtrax, but do they really have that bad of a rep?

I also stay away from Integy considering there really aren't positive posts about them.

*grabs his Smash Bros case he happens to have within arms reach*

If I ever get the Wii fixed, I challenge anyone here to beat me, 4 stocks and no items on final dest.

If you beat me you get...

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...

I need a balancer for my T-Power 2s lipo and Flightpower 3s lipo. They both use the same connector, and have the same number of wires I imagine that this might create some problems, due to the fact...

RE: YOUR 5 WORST ACTORS....

Anyone in Twilight just because of all the annoying fangirls they've generated.

Holy crap I didn't even know Paris Hilton was an actor. [:'(]

RE: do you purchase on reputation?

Another thing people tend to do is buy based on LHS support. It's a lot easier to just go to a LHS ten minutes away than have to wait a week for parts to come from the interwebs.

Mine looks stock from the outside (minus the tires) so here's a list of the mods instead.

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...

I just realized what the question was really asking. I wouldn't choose any. I'd just keep saving up until I can get one of my own.

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...

The only car I've ever owned, brushless 18T!

Although it's in pieces at the moment. It doesn't have a chassy or top deck so it's just a bunch of driveline and suspension components laying in a...

RE: Returning to the Hobby after 12 years

And for wet-running, I personally wouldn't do it. It just increases the maintenance really. I know that the new E-Maxx and E-Revo's are supposed to be water resistant however, so you could probably...

RE: Returning to the Hobby after 12 years

If I were to go and get one of those right now, I'd grab a E-Revo and run it on dual 7 cells.

I know the Flux's are considered amazingly good bashers, and that they're darn fast.

But wow...

RE: Aluminum axle hubs and a arms????

Well cfish gave some great advice, I don't have an E-Revo but the same thing basically applies. If you replace the hubs the arms will break, if you replace the arms and hub the hinge pin mounts will...

RE: What shocks to buy for E-Revo?

http://www.thetoyz.com/cart/thetoyz_details.lasso?id=12441&cat_name=#

These are made by hot racing and have a screw on bottom cap and some nice thick O-rings, it looks like they'll do the job.
