I run the DT on a indoor technical track and I use the stock spur gear and a 14T pinion and I think it does fairly well in the turns and on the jumps. I have better luck with the 15T and stock pinion...

Just giving a update. Went to the local track today had a blast. My Dt had minimal issues today I change out the Losi steering servo and recv for a Hi-Tech titanum digital steering servo and a Futaba...

The gearing was 31T pinion and a 76 spur. I also used a 33T pinion. You can find it at.

I agree there is no comparision in both of the trucks. I think it has alot to do with preference kind of like chevy to a ford. My desert truck has a digital HI-Tech servo with the Futaba fast...
