RE: Super 400 Cobalt in Lieu of Speed 400

RE: Super 400 Cobalt in Lieu of Speed 400

I am using a super co.400 in a "Nashville" hotliner glider (74" WS, 28 oz. AUW) direct drive with 7x4.5 folder. Getting fairly steep climbs and good duration on 7&8 cell KAN 1050 packs. I think this...

RE: Astro 035 FAI Geared motor questons

Go to Astro Flight.com for data on this motor. It is high quality and can put out lots of thrust on 8 to 10 cells. I have the AF cobalt 05 geared, and it can haul a big plane at 25A, 8 to 10 cells!

Before making a substantial investment, a cheap way to get your feet wet in EP is with the Watt-Age ARF'S Mad Max or Crazy Max, at Hobby People. They can be flown in a small space, and do lots of...

RE: Accord 47 threads

Hi Dave! I checked out your favorite Accord thread, and was surprised that Ed gives the "47" 16 oz. airframe weight and area of 460 in., when NESail gives it 10 OZ. AF weight and 505 in. area. I...

The ESC should have a plug to fit your receiver- it plugs into the channel 3 (throttle) spot in the RX. Thats all there is to it! Good luck!

I am restoring an AF Viking old-timer, and it has a lifting stabilizer. I think the CG should be rearward of the usual 1/4 ave. chord placement for a non- lifting stab. Anyone know a rule of thumb...

Brian- a surprisingly good aerobat electric ARF is the Crazy Max by Watt-age. It is small, comes with a 370 geared motor, and is quick to build. I have one, flew it last summer. The only drawback is...
