Poor motor didn't make it i had too install a brushed motor ,280 geared..........fortunately reciever and servos made it along with battery. Next delima i have is charging the 10.4 v parkzone p-51...

:( i put my J3 in the pond....sniffle...not sure what i fried the little noise it makes when you first plug battery in ...that noise comes from the motor the noise sounds like crap.......nothing...

Did some quick research it apears too be a likely canadate .. any here in States?
any experiance with this motor......? Gear box mostlikely will be needed...but can i use the 8.4 v Nimh battery?

What does one of them cost Doc? complete with correct esc and battery?The hobby zone 480 i believe has a 3:1 gear box......it was all it would do too get airborne.....was also a 5-7 mph head wind....

And she flys... i will have too say 16 oz with gear and struts ...no motor.no electronics ect any suggestions on a power plant " brushed" just a bit more than HZ 480?

Aeronca L-3 stick built

Just completed a scratch built Aeronca L-3 ,plans by Roger Winger . My RC flight instructor Jeff Gilbert ....Test flew it this evening just before sundown.I tried .....Too take off.....twice...
