yeah was going to say the same, Change to a smaller prop and use a 3s Lipo and it should fly What size prop is on it now?

Nice set up mate. Firtsly about the prop, i would reccomend starting on a smaller prop and working up in size in stead of starting with the ni-mh batt.If its your first run, Take it out for a 45 sec...

I've got the exact same battery in a VXL Bandit and i've never had any problems with it at all. Try it without Lipo protection on like deanr said before for a couple of minutes and then you will see...

Thanks for that Espiga. I think the prop i have on it know is a 40mm but i not sure if its a submerged type prop. How can you tell the difference?

yeah its the fan thats hitting on the body. I thought of heating it and bending it out a bit where its hitting, dont really want cut a hole out if it.
