RE: Xtm Xt2

That battery pack will be fine to run with an upgraded MG servo.
As for interference with wifi and internet...... unless they are on the same band with or you have some massive power lines near...

RE: xtm xt2

What engine does it have in it?
The pull start works well for me and less crap I need to haul to the park.

RE: xt2 vs ofna picco?

The xtm is great for bashing and thats about it, if you want to race then don't get the xtm.
It is built like a tank and weighs as much as one too. And this is coming from someone who likes them,...

RE: xtm xt2 buggy

No complaints with mine, but if I had the choice and ability to buy gear as cheap as you guys from the states I would have got a Hyper 7 TQ.

RE: Buggy suggestions?

Buggies aren't fun mate....... They are bloody awesome!
What is your price range and do you have any decent hobby shops around you as freight would be killer to NZ.
If you do have a hobby shop...

RE: buggy body

There is also a good area at the end of Pt Kennedy drive with heaps of tracks and limestone gravel that I have had a rip through but mainly go to the local oval.

RE: buggy body

Is that the one with the thread at the top?

RE: buggy body

Looks nice and sleek, easy to touch up too if it starts cracking.
Good to see someone who is reasonably close to me, any good bashing spots in the area?

RE: Should i get a Axial .28

I have one and it is fantastic, can't fault it.
I previously had the Force .28 in my buggy which went very well but the Axial .28 spec 1s craps all over it.

RE: Beginner Nitro Buggy

The Hyper, no contest...... that is cheaper than my XT2 when I got it even with the postage.

RE: What nitros Off road should i get Thank you in advance

Well let him know that $400-600AUD will not get him race quality especially if he wants a radio system to go with it.
His best bet would be to go for a Hyper 7 TQ RTR package.

RE: Beginner Nitro Buggy

If you can get the Hyper 7 cheap enough, get that.... you won't regret it. they are reasonably robust but don't weigh as much as the Dominator/XT2

RE: MacStar .28 help

I recently broke in my Axial .28 spec 1s in the exact manner as jmaxey explained, 8 tanks before I even thought of taking it above a 1/2 throttle squirt. Doing the figure 8's or 20' ovals will be...

What are the price differences between them?
Are the EB4 and Caster kit or RTR?

RE: What nitros Off road should i get Thank you in advance

Does he want to race it? Or just bash?
If it is just bashing then ultimately any buggy can be broken if you land it wrong.
If professional help is what he needs and he doesn't trust your opinion...

RE: What nitros Off road should i get Thank you in advance

It all depends on how deep you mates pockets are, if they are only looking to spend the amount in your first post then they will only be looking at an RTR or something a few seasons old and second...

RE: Beginner Nitro Buggy

A mate of mine has the EB4 and is a very good buggy but came as a roller and by the time he finished it owed him a fair bit of $$$
As far as the GV Dominator goes it is just a rerelease of my GV...

RE: What nitros Off road should i get Thank you in advance

For that price he is better going to his local hobby shop and buying something that they have parts in stock for or can get easily.
Postage from the states for a bulky item to oz can be quite hefty...

RE: Xtm Xt2 1/8- Best tires?

I have still got the tyres that came with mine also but they lasted a hell of a lot longer than yours, road running will trash them as you have found out.
Depending on how much you want to spend go...

RE: Just bought a GV Rex X! Problems :(

Exactly what I thought, as chooka has stated spring and pin engage with the cut out on the starter plate and when you reassemble if you rotate it prior to putting the bolts back in you will hear an...

RE: Different motor?

Do you want to race?
Do you care about fuel economy?
If not.... slap a decent .28 in her and watch it fly.

RE: Help with Older Buggy
