Thanks for the reply twoolley...yeah those look like rubber or teflon shields and probably chrome balls as he said he has to oil it often...thanks though for listing the link.

Speaking of bearings....I'm trying to find the same ones they list here... Villain Hop-up They list it as 4x8mm flanged STAINLESS steel bearings, however I cannot find them anywhere...tons of chrome...

Hey BigBird,
If in fact those are stainless steal ball bearings, where did you acquire them?
Did you change the drive shaft housing with brass tubing and bearings as well?
