AIR WILD GILES 300 (aileron throw)

Cna any tell us the differential for the ailerons for the Giles 300. The book says 20 degrees throw but the aileron is hinged at the top like the comp arf. Thanks

Low-end transition problems

The ballpark settings for that size engine are 1.5 to 1.75 open on the low and 1 on the high. Remember that the engine always sucks from the low needle so if it wont transition from this base setting...

6,800 is way low for this engine. The g23 properly tuned should swing a 16x8 at least high eights to low nines. My g23 has had about 25 hours on it and leaned out it pulls 9300 but is set on 9100....

It's probably the idle screw it needs tob be removed totaly it is not needed as the servo does the job. A lean mixture will make it idle lower and nicer but it should still shut down?

Got the tube works a treat. What size tank are you running? they seem to go through the fluid. What is the best fluid I am using 50/50 kero and transmission fluid seems really thick smoke.
