Thanks Dave. That was a 1400W/6s setup with cheap HK fan/motor combo and 25 leftover batteries. Not bad. Video stabilzation makes it look pretty slow tpday, and it was about 25% slower than Sunday...

BTW, nice job on the conversion. The plane flies beautifully. Now you just have to work on converting your 100cc planes to avoid that scary dead-stick issue you had with the big one last weekend!

Just got back from the field. Our area is extinguished but down the road 1/2mi south it was still burning with thick blue smoke (at least when I drove by at 7:30am). I should have a aerial view...

May as well throw in some more heresy while I'm at it... in each of the electric conversions I've done recently, rather than being heavier from all the battery weight, each plane wound up being tail...
