RE: T-28 vs Mustang BL vs Corsair vs ME109

I've flown and own all of them and your assumption is correct. The T-28, in my opinion, is the best all around Parkzone Warbird. It turns the tightest and is just as fast as the other planes. It...

RE: Which Parkzone Flyer Do You Prefer

My memories as a kid was watching Robert Conrad in Baa Baa Black Sheep. Cheesy by today's standards but boy was it so cool as a kid. When Parkzone came out with the Corsair I was smitten and had to...

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf

I have had great success with the Turnigy SK 35-48 900KV motors. Great alternative to stock and provides good flight times and better performance. Run with a 10x8 prop to balance out performance...

RE: New Parkzone Trojan T-28D PNP/BNF & EZ-XPORT

Leo,

Tell me more!!!

My experience with the Mustangs has not been that great and I've alwasy beleived it was the wing configuration. They always seemed to be somewhat unstable. Mustangs...

RE: New Parkzone Trojan T-28D PNP/BNF & EZ-XPORT

Dude, this plane flys the best out of all the PZ warbirds. You XPORT adapter goes tight in place and sonic combat away. Good luck on the possible gig with Horizon, hope they pick it up.

High...

RE: Parkzone Corsair with EZ-XPORT & Sonic Combat Module

If you all are doing combat with the Sonic Combat Module on the new Parkzone Mustand, Crosair, or the Trojan, get this thing. It will work on just abount any Receiver. We use them on the Spektrum...

RE: Aerobird Extreme - Help!?

I would say buy a new fuse and body for $19. This is just the plastics - you can take the electronics out of your plane and put it in.

RE: Super Simple esc question

It has a built in autodetect for 2S or 3S. Not sure if it is programmable - maybe with the turnigy programming card.

RE: Aerobird Xtreme Upgrade

The Zippy batteries I use or the Zippy brand as a whole?

Runing the 2 7.4V 1450MHa batteries run about $15 each and are 30C rated. They work great and the combined 2900mha gives good run time -...

RE: Aerobird Xtreme Upgrade

If you are running a separate ESC, then I believe you will be in good shape. I did the same thing with an E-flight ESC 30A with both the 11.1 and 7.4V Lipos. The 11.1 has great power but I felt the...

RE: Aerobird Xtreme Upgrade

If you are using the stock ESC, running an 11.1V lipo, you will burn out the ESC. The FETS and motor can handle it, but the onboard voltage regulator can't. I popped two boards doing this. When I...

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf

Agreed, usually it is AILE and AUX1 for most of the Spektrum stuff. This way you can easily servo reverse and subtrim each.

RE: Parkzone Corsair with EZ-XPORT & Sonic Combat Module

Depends - what do you want to adapt to? Battery.

I use "bananna" plugs and put them on all of my chargers. the way I can cascade them together. I then take a cigaratte lighter extension cord...

RE: EZ-XPORT2 is here. Run XPORT modules on any airplane.

JPC,

Thanks for shipping these out so fast. We had them on all the PZ Corsairs, one gas plane, and one guy had it on the T-28. I'll send you a video clip of the sonic battle.

RE: Parkzone f4U Corsair Rtf

WXUP,

My suggestion would be using a 7.4 volt Lipo instead. Some of my older planes that ran the classic 7 cell ni-cad did so much beter with the lipo. The 7.4v lipo, although lower in initial...

RE: Aerobird Xtreme Upgrade

The AMP value of an ESC is its theoretical upper limt, not what it "will" do. If you motor (for example) pulls 10 amps continious and burstat at 18 amps, then a 20, 30, or 40 amps esc would work...

RE: Aerobird Xtreme Upgrade

The HobbyCity brushed controller would do just fine - I've actually used in in the AE3. Advantage of the E-flight 30 amp brushed is that you can get it at your LHS quickly. It also works very well....

RE: Aerobird Xtreme Upgrade

1) Go to Radios Shack and buy a cheapo perforated circuit board - with holes and such - should be about 2 or 3 dollars
2) Use a dremmel tool and cut holes to put in some micro servos
3) Use...
