F4.1 also came in the Savage X. I have one. 3.5 would be a .21 engine. The 4.1 is a .25.

Did you prefer it to the stock motor? I'm on the fence with it.I want more power than the 4.1 ,but, not sure what works good at that size range.

Well I figured it out for myself. I guess it must've been a stupid question in the first place since noone replied. I'm much more familiar with Trxxas EZ-Start and just learning about these...

If your friend won't take 300.00 get a new one.I have a couple used rc's and they all have different issues when I got them. You also get to breakin your own engine and know that it was done right....

Savage X 4.1 roto-start ?

I recently got a Savage X 4.1 in a trade and the roto-start on the engine works ,but, it's all afloat and moves alot.Is that normal or are the fasteners missing.
