RE: Turnigy Good or Bad?

I've never had a problem with any of the five Turnegy motors I own, but I did have a magnet go on one of the AXIs I've used. Go figure.
Good luck,

RE: Dope Retarder

I wouldn't advise it. I've tried several additives beside Xylene and made a mess. Stick to Randolphs. Even though it will cost a little more you'll be glad you did. Good luck.

RE: New 2.4 ghz question

I have the same radio in my Dumas ChristcrafT. That's the way the radio is supposed to work. When you turn on the Tx push the throttle up and then down. I think the instructions as brief as they are,...

RE: Bearings size in Himax HC3510

BOCA bearings in Florida can probably tell you and even sell them to you. It's been awhile since I've done business with them , so I can't remember their address.

RE: Seaplane ARF's

You can't go wrong with the Seamaster. I've built three: the .25 size, the .45 size and I scaled up the drawings to make a 1.20 size. They are all good flyers.
Good luck,

RE: Seaplane covering question

A suggestion when covering with monokote on plywood is to coat the wood with Balsarite first. Let it set for about a day. Put the mono on the wood tacking with an iron at one end., pulling it tight...

RE: Kadet Senior float conversion.

Hello seaplane.
You can't go wrong with a Senor Kadet on floats. IN the last approx 20 years I've built 3 Kadets, 2 with floats. The pics are #1 and #2.
Good luck.

RE: Royal Kits

Yeah, RiddLE 4u,

You got a sharp eye. It probably does look that way. It hasn't been glued together yet. It should be better after I paint it and glue the parts together.

RE: Royal Kits

I've been working on a Royal kit for a P-38 that I bought in 1985. It's like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. The kit is well engineered, and although very good drawings, the plans don't coordinate...

RE: Identification in your boat.

The AMA requires all model planes have the owner's name, address, and means of communication, etc., on the model. I'm surprized that NAMBA dosen't require the same for model boats. Or dose...

I've used both Krylon and Rustoleum for many years on all kinds of models. I found the the Rustoleum seems to hold up better agenst glow fuel than the Krylon. Both work good on boat hulls. Good luck
