RE: Aero Works P-51?

I am privileged enough to work somewhere that has a patent attorney in their back pocket. Honestly, I could never cost justify patenting this idea. It's honestly only a block that has been...

RE: Aero Works P-51?

Hey guys, I'm the fella who made the engine mounts for Zeeb. I didn't know he was posting up in a thread over here about the mount, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that he was. I'm working on...

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

Having been over 2 years since I had this plane, I would still go with a lightweight glow setup in it. The YS is a favorite of mine. I have had the pleasure of playing with a YS 115, and that's...

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

I have a friend who put a DLE 20 on a 9.8# airplane, and he said he wished he had gone ahead and put the 30 on it. Mine came in a little over 10, and the YS 110 powered it very well, but I seem to...

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

When I got mine shipping was only 35 bucks, so how bad you want to fly might outweigh waiting for the possibility of free shipping. Not to mention the possibility of them going out of stock, this is...

RE: 7.4 V servos - what receiver ??

CRAP! Just got off the phone with product support. 6v is the max on any of their recievers, if anybody is interested. Oh well.

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

No, I had the same problem. Didn't use the jam nuts. Problem solved for me. Oh, and I used the sullivan clevis(maybe 1/32" shorter??). They have a lock on them, I don't care if you put a mile of...

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

I really liked the YS 110 on mine. The YS 140 would just be dreamy, especially because you need some nose weight. Syssa 180 would be good too - it was designed for this plane.

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

I feel your pain on the CG problem. I actually found that their CG placement was nose heavy. As I was trimming the plane for IMAC, when I would roll inverted I would pitch down, to the point where...

RE: da 85 problems?

Hey Karmann,

I notice you posted this last year. After a year of running does the 85 still shake bad? I would think after it's worn in a little it'd smooth right out. Just got a used one,...

RE: Building the new H9 Sukhoi SU 26MM

Thanks to the great advice I've got on this thread I purchased a DA 85 for this plane today, and hope to have it in the air by the end of the month. Hopefully I wont blow it apart in flight. We'll...

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

Dubro 16 oz is what I used with my YS 110. Vess 17x6 was what I ended up using, and there is a guy at the field who flys the 17x6 on his AX120. Good combo.

RE: Balsa USA Smoothie

Hey guys, looking for a first kit to build and this looks like a good one. I have been flying for 3 years and have rebuilt many parts and pieces of ARF's. I have been doing R/C for about 12 years...

RE: Building the new H9 Sukhoi SU 26MM

I called my rep at Horizon and she said they were not interchangeable. One is the Su-31 and the other is a reworked Su-26. That being said, I don't know what other option you have. Maybe you can...

RE: Building the new H9 Sukhoi SU 26MM

Well, like I said thanks for your help. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive or something. I've been in the hobby for over 10 years, and I thought I was asking a genuine question. Maybe I took it the...

Thank you both for your help on the matter. I will assuredly put a zdz80 in the plane and not think twice about it. That's the kind of first hand experience and knowledge I was looking for,...

RE: Building the new H9 Sukhoi SU 26MM

Hey guys:

Just ordered mine today and I have a simple question. I have access to a DLE111 and I was wondering why I couldn't use that. It makes a little more power than the 85, or just as...

RE: *World Models 70

Hey there:

Think the YS110 would be good in here? It spanks all the saito 125's at the field hands down. This will be my first warbird (the parkzone 109 does not count) I've had Yaks and...

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB

I don't run Y harnesses unless I've got a parkflyer, wouldn't recommend it, but I am biased. I have really wanted to put smoke on mine, but I'm trying to keep it light as possible - so I omitted it....

RE: Pilot RC - Yak 26% - 73

Hey Guys:

I was hucking my Aeroworks 72" yak yesterday when an RV-4 came by and took my tail off - not a good day to say the least. I was looking for a AUW on these planes with the 30cc...

RE: Introducing the new 90-1.20 Yak QB
