Stall torque is over 20A. Will burn out the stock RX18 MFU and even most aftermarket ones?

Just becareful with high rpm 380 size motors. I had some crazier 380 mabuchi's rated at about 27k rpm....

Yeh in hindsight I shouldn't have touched it after teating it with the 4 AA batteries. Originally I thought it was just the plug. I'm buying a new one. Hope I have better luck 2nd time around.

Tested the FETs with a multimeter, no continuity between Drain and Source. and the diode test all checks out... 0.45V~ or so for all of them. So I don't think they are blown.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll be doing some further testing later today. Probably solder a new set of wires and connector to do a by pass underneath the partially melted plug on the tk22.

hmmm the GWS 400 motor you linked from Towerhobbies jhas a 2.5mm shaft. Mabuchi 4535 has a 2.3mm shaft from their product specification page. Henglong motors / pinions are also 2.3mm
