keep tweaking your cat, it should go more than that with the right prop, if your cat runs stable, just leave the proper weight in the boat and it won't effect the top speed.

I assumed the trouble is from your old prop, try the proper one, once the trouble resolves, the strut height should move up about 1/2" above the ride pad that measures from the bottom of the sponson...

Set your pipe length between 11-1/2 to 12" as most people do.
