Yeap that is a CVA LHA, used for transporting Marines with Amphibious vehicles, Helos and Jump Jets. As my friends in the Navy say " Marine stands for -My A@@ Rides In Navy Equipment.

Yeah High torque is good, but IMHO I would put metal gear servos in at least the ailerons and elevator on a 120 size aircraft.

I skimmed through all the post. Didn't see anyone mention the DLE 20cc gaser. Would be a perfect match for this plane, especially since you stated he is already 3d flying.

Yeah nothing but a few scars on the thumb. I was darn lucky!!!!!! This is my 2nd dynaflite PT 19. Still have the fuse from the first one. I had thought my first one was a GP PT 19....

Good day all. I friend of mine at work gave me a seaplane. It has the words mermaid on the side. The bottom is plastic, and there's is a decal on the horizonatl stab that says copyright 1987, Japan....
