The YS fit the aluminum mount just fine... but.. I wanted to cut vibration...and the Hyde mount does a wonderful job at it.. even at idle the plane doesn't shake (the motor does though)

I FINALLY got my problems with my spitty worked out...

I have a YS1.10 in mine and the keleo scale exhaust.....

the problems were.... engine overheating and shutting off and the exhaust...

I wrapped mine with glass and epoxy... looks like the underside of a go cart body in there!!!!

So far.. no problems... I think it may even have dampend the vibration a bit!!

I got one good ten minute flight landed.. flew something else... and then took off..

WELLLLL......... I did some calculations on a propellar load simulator.... that 14X9 three blade on there was too big!!!!! the simulator said it was pulling 2.85 H.P. suggested 14X10 and...

My thoughts were a weak ring myself as i've had this problem on other engines....

HOWEVER........ I found my old post......

Someone commented that the fuel sptting out the carb was a sign...

I have my 110FZ mounted in a H9 Spitfire with a Keleo Scale Exhaust spinning a 14X7...

OK... YS 110FZ old style with the regulator on the crank.. m mounted in verted in H9-spitfire with 14X7 three blader

Symptoms... Starts right up... runs perfectly.. on the ground...

I really need to get my spitty out and get it some more air time.... I put a digital servo in for the throttle because I was having bigtime idle issues with the YZ 110FZ in it and found that the crap...

Yup.... It looks like a spit.. but.. its really a sport plane that looks like a spit.

I've done what i can to get it to look more like the full scale... but.. to get it close to scale on...

Thanks... thats exactly what going on on the top end too... slight lean surge... it reaches the point i dialed it in at and then drifts up a couple hundred rpm and back down... etc..

1) Exhaust leak... acutally... the bolt that secures the exhaust to the engine was loose and rattling around on the...

Advice....

Tune the PUMP to the engine..... not the engine to the pump....

IE... get your engine running right WITHOUT the pump.. then...

OK...... Thanks for the replys

1st.... didn't find anything in the regulator

2nd... Engine was never in a test stand... It was in the airplane when i took it to the field to test fire...
