NO! You will smoke the ESC and/or motor with a 5S battery and the motor is designed for a 3S-4S input voltage.

The Z-Foam on this plane is a lot denser and more rigid than the Z-Foam used on the T-28's etc. HH states the same easy to fix material characteristics exist but is much more rigid.
