I am in the middle of an 056 conversion, the rotation is CW, not CCW. I have also had to put a CH Ignition on it to get spark. I could not get spark hand proping it.

I did a search after ther first suggestion and found a thread that had a spec sheeet.

Engine ID help needed

I got this at a rc show and the guy didnt know what brand it was.

it has 3 rings, about a 30 cc engine
on the back casting it has a grey hound in an oval
and it looks like 3 penants in a square...

I cannot get a stihl 056 ( 80cc ) to produce any spark when hand proping. it has the magneto ignition system. i checked that the kill button is not grounded. If i use my electric sullivan starter...
