Novarossi 353 tuned if money is not an issue.  STS S12X5 slightly less highend but cheaper.  Got both and love both of them.  :D

These spur gears should last very long and easy on the pinion as well. But sure need to get the spacing right or it may strip easily. :)

All electric motor have the max torque at startup. And the torque will drop when the RPM increase. For motor with the same turn a single will have the higest torque (best for eg. touring and 4wd...

I would say it have something to do with the discharge rate. I am not sure what kind of battery you got but I had seen some low quality lipo rated 25C on the outside. But when I take it apart...

Ya, I agree the design is sure "inspire" by the rrr. But they add a lot of unique stuff to makes it better like 2 o-ring in side the diff pre side to makes it less likely to leak, the large diff...
