12 oz thrust on the ground ain't bad, my friend. My opinion is it will unwind quite a bit more in the air, should be pretty fast. If the plane weighs just 24 oz, you'll be over 50% power/weight...

I used to race 1/2-A pylon and never worried about breaking in a Tee-Dee, it was broken in with the first startup. To get better airflow through the engine, I removed the cylinder and lapped it...
