The hump pack is the battery pack that comes with the XL. You should be able to run for more than 45 min. once your battery is cycled a few times it should get better. If the stock charger takes that...

It is very true and a frustrating part of this hobby that the maintence, repairs, and issues never end. On the other hand you just could be being punished today for shelving that thing for 3+ years...

the heat cycleing method is highly recommended. just use the search theres alot of post on it here. i didnt know about it when i broke mine in and just idle a tank and did some light running for two...

i did it to mine when i first got it. i wouldnt do it again. its extra weight, extra parts to break, and the linkage setup sucks and always pops out. so you end up chaseing it anyways...

the part that is spinning free is the clutch bell. thats sapposed to spin like that. the part thats not is the fly wheel and you should be able to move that same with slight resistance and then alot...

your cart is empty. 2.4 ghz is the way to go for radio. there are better than others but if if your in that range your better off. hitech 7955tg for steering. plenty of options for throttle...

no you cant see if its broke or not. just try a new set and youll know if it that or not...if you have another rc you can swap those chrystals in and check it that way...
