well the Sopwith Camel isnt built yet, soon I hope. Its actually 36" span not 31" as I had previously thought, which may mean I need a tad more power than a glow CS .061 r/c.......

Hmm.. the pic looks like what was left after your CS went > 18800 rpm in the air....

I also though that; whilst nicely made, the needle itself was somewhat coarse so at the least I put some...

10% nitro is low, but almost any 1/2a will run on low nitro fuel but maybe not so well. As for over-cooled this one has a restrictive muffler (and very nice too) and that will make it run hotter....

I have a CS 061 r/c and had the same problem, but I was trying to get a larger than usual prop that I needed for using it on a WW1 round cowl (Sopwith Camel) since a 5" prop, even a 6" prop...
