I usually use DEANS solder... but I used my coworkers CHEAP solder and the solder came off... I wonder If my car is really overheating though.

ESC cutting out

I'm recently getting an overheated ESC.. it's an LRP F1 Pro Reverse w/ a speed gems Pro Kryptonite motor.

After running it a bit, i don't get anything out of the ESC.. the lights still indicate...

I second TJ cause I had aluminum skid plates on mine, weighed it down and it still broke.. I mean the front skid plate broke in half...

First things i would get are the RPM arms.... and then 7 cell batteries.. GIVES A TREMENDOUS POWER BOOST... and if u'r on a budget, all you need for now will be the rear MIP CVD's as the rear is the...

Yeah KArl.. this book sounds cool.. cause I don't race, but LOVE tamiya's for their detail and build..

Anyways, For the .4 pitch, I use around 20-23, depending on the motor i'm using.

TB01 vs TT01

TB01 is better.. They've brought out the NEW TT-01 chassis to replace the TL01 I believe.. a begginers chassis...

What are you planning to do w/ the car?? Just bash around??

I second dasgruvn... Sorex are really good tires.. But run out quickly.. make sure you get more tire juice to make it as sticky as when you first got.. But i love my sorex tires.

It runs well w/ me too, but yesterday, It was running so well i made a mistake of running it like a buggy.. I was making it do some CRAZY jumps... like BMX bike jumps.. and well.. only thing i broke...

thanks... guess what?? I went and got another TB01.. L0L... I just love the tamiya detail and haven't had problems w/ my 5 year old TB01 (cept for broken body posts from rollovers)..

Okay.. I've been playing with my RALLY TB01's and love em.. except for the fact that finding TAMIYA PARTS locally sucks.

So I'm looking at 2 other rally alternatives..

How much ground clearance?

You can pickup TAMIYA or HPI rally tires.. they work pretty well.. The tamiya is better but doesn't last as long or as cheap as the HPI.

Me and my buddy play alot with our TB01 in SAND/DIRT/GRAVEL...
