They were using Hitech (PCM) recievers on Hitech (PCM) Transmitters.
I wished they were compatible with Futaba becouse they make a great recieverjust 2x...

Most people don't want high pitched props on 3-D airplanes, try a 13x4 if the motor is broke in I run 12 1/4 x 3 3/4 and works great.
10x6 is the break in prop for the motor.

Im running a magnum 52 and it hovers at 1/2 stick on 10% but you can't make it work like a yoyo.
A good 60 2stroke will do the trick, and the 4stroke equivilent is the 90 so that should work just...

The problem with the TT39 is the threads that are left to put the washer and nut on is not much. most people find a new thinner washer or make one. then use good lock tight.

I have never heard of this, I think that you may have had the motor running backward tippical on this heli start system with an untuned motor(rich). and it cought the clutch lining and tore it...

I agree with cyclic main needle should be open minimum1 1/2 turns and hover at around 5deg pitch, to loose the fuel foaming the low end needle needs to be riched as well.
