I have no big plans for rc plane other then learning to fly my trianer on my own and just improving at it. I also have rc boats and that is where my true rc love is at.

I just biult one with a gas RCMK. I put the motor as far forward as possible and offset the strut 3/8" other then that it was all normal build. My first outing she ran 75 mph and tracks real nice.

Eric, I can not find my records. I know that they are posted on here somewhere so I'll search around some. I think my strut was 5 - 6 mm up to bottom of stuff tube.

Why not remove the hook so you can level the trim out is what I am saying. I started out with a BJ55 and loved it best run was 55.? with a modded cylinder. I never had to run that much trim!

I never had to have all that positive trim with my BJ have you checked the bottom for a hook? If you could get rid of the trim she would pick up some speed.

That is awesome with an M5 motor. Try a skegless strut sometime or you may be able to cut the rudder a little shorter. I also think a good 2 blade would give you some more mph?

Trust me a buddy box does not offend me at all. As a matter of fact I wish I had the funds to buy one for my radio. You are right about the weather but I will spend lots of time on the Real Flight...
