Hawk Sport Upgrades?

I'm using a Futaba GY401 (Heading Hold) -- works fine even though the instructions recommend a rate Gyro. With the HH Gyro, it really keeps the boom in a constant position even in a cross wind.

Hawk Sport Upgrades?

I migrated from an LMH 120 to Hawk Sport, and glad I did. The Hawk is much much easier to fly. I now believe everyone who told me that collective pitch makes it easier to fly -- it's the truth.

I have an Eclipse and have the same question.

I guess you create idle-up by setting the Throttle Curve to a fixed percentage and set the 5 points on the pitch curve. Is this how you would create...

Tequila Sunrise 40

I think the 40 size is great --- flies smooth with no bad tendencies, even at low speeds. I'd buy another in a heartbeat!

I've been flying planes for years and rarely use the left stick to coordinate turns, now I guess I'm going to have to learn now that I'm flying helis.

I've got a HH Gyro (Futaba 401) and must use...

why is the hawk sport/engine combo so cheap

I've been flying my Hawk Sport for a few weeks (moved from a Corona electric) and love it. The only thing that seems cheap is the landing skid -- it broke after a few not-so-hard landings. I bought...

I've read the manual several times and can't find it.

Unless, you use one of the flight modes and set the throttle curve to the same value for all 5 points. I guess this could be one way of...
