RE: Question about the SPA3d

The wing needs the music wires to stiffen it up. I found that I had to drive 5/32 wire in with a hammer so there was no problem with it moving. 4 mm carbon fiber tubes work even better! thudriver

RE: Can I handle it?

At part throttle the spad3t is a *****cat, very controlable, but you have to be smart enough to fly at part throttle! :Dthudriver

RE: Ground loop

It is very simple, hold up elevator until it is going pretty good and then you will have rudder control!:Dthudriver

RE: SPAD 3D with OS 52 4 Stroke?

It may be an illusion but in the picture the wing looks like it is too thick. The crease in the wing should be around 1/4 of an inch above the top of the channel. Just my opinion! :Dthudriver

RE: My SPAD3D is just too much FUN!!

Don't land a spa3d hot! It is much easier to control flying about 20 degrees nose up and controlling descent with power touching tailwheel first.:Dthudriver

RE: Taking off my SPA3DT?? Help..

In case all else fails, I just hold full up elevater until it flies. Full up elevator will hold the tailwheel on the ground and give you control to stop the spinouts.:Dthudriver

RE: COROPLAST CUTTING BREAKTHROUGH!

My big ole sweet wife gave me one of her old cutting pads. In addition to cutting nicely the grid is handy to check alignment when bending landing gear.:D thudriver
