RE: Should positions on US World Champ Teams be filled by US Citizens

In reply to dandk2261999, post 119. The information you received is incorrect.
I am Army retired and my wife and I (both US citizens) had a child born in Japan. Several years later when stationed...

RE: Looking for Higley's "Bipes" book...

I have owned both the Moki 180 and the OS 160. My experience is that the 160 is by far the better engine and as strong or stronger then the Moki. The 160 can be run out of the box and the Moki takes...

RE: Radio Impound

I know of a club of 250-300 and they have no impound. They do have a pin on the transmitter when using the channel. So impound is not required and may not be wanted by some large clubs.

All rules should be followed by ALL persons, at all times when using the field.
If one violates the club rules, that person also violates AMA rules. Should an accident occur while a deliberate...

RE: Vmar or World Models

The only other ARF that is close to World Models is Great Planes. After putting together several of each, W.M. is #1 in my opinion.

RE: Vmar or World Models

No comparison, World Models is number 1 in ARF's while v-mar doesn't even rank.

RE: KMP 337 Skymaster In The House!!!

I had OS 61 FX's in mine but I do remember the weight was under 15 pounds.
I had an offer I couldn't refuse, excuse that pun, so off she went.

RE: KMP 337 Skymaster In The House!!!

The dry weight was something close to 14 pounds but don't remember the exact weight. I no longer have the plane. I am sorry but I also do not recall how much weight was required. It is a very good...

RE: Should Pilot # 2 replace Pilot # 1's Airplane?

Our club field rules state that any mid-air accident is a no fault incident. Mid airs happen all the time so pick up the pieces and go on. I voted no.

RE: OS 160 FX Propeller

Try either the 16X10 or 17X8. Both are good and should give you about 9000-9500 RPM.
BTW the OS 160 is a great engine but it must be run on the rich side and MUST have LARGE fuel lines throughout...
