if i remember right, this here is the one the one person who detailed this used for his brushed boardless Walkera 400d (and those motors are 390motors) so they should fit fine for the BOL:

If this is a common problem, the solutionn is to ditch the 3in1 altogether!! It is possible to go boardless with brushed motors as well ... noone says you have to do a brushless conversion to go...
