I would concur. Even the RC18 is kinda big n quick for indoors. And I have also picked up a second for friends or a backup. Maybe even a third?

Ivote (per your budget) for the RC18MT....
Igot my son a Rustler, brushless'ed it and it wasnt good for him. 2wd, too much power.
Also I have a brushless mini erevo, again it just seemed like too...

The Lipo thing is definitely not a must have.
A seller warned me that with 'all brushed motors' running batteries back to back will kill the motor, and to wait 15 minutes for a cool down....?

When you run a LiPo, how does it work,I mean does the stock ESCin theMini Desert have an LVC .....???

I was in the Mini T/DT /Desert area to begin with... Is the desert more stable? They are stock 1100 mah, but I see longer life batts on ebay, do they fit well?

I've been leaning towards a 1/18 for my 5 year old, and the Mini desert caught my eye..Then there are the variations like the raminator.....
It'd be mostly street with a few mistakes into the grass....

Well, that was easy enough...They both appear to be Desert MICROS.....Since I already got out of one 1/36'er I know what this is..
They run 10 minutes tops on the driveway...Charge in 15-20 off the...

Quick question, the Mini T is the truck that comes with the charger that uses AA batteries TOcharge the truck.,
TheMini Desert uses a wall charger to charge a Nimh pack.....

SOIgot it to play around with it...It has some sort of circuit board discharger thing, a pair of old batteries (gives 10 minutes street tops, each) Car, transmitter.The charger is an MRC super brain...

Wow, we ran it, pretty neat 2wd buggy. Kinda quick, I would be hard pressed to guess a speed though. It sure didnt last long, 10 minutes at the far most.
2000MAH pack, and its OLD.

Isaw a badge on it that had '97 on it, like he raced it in an event or something. Thing is he 'guessed' it was 4-5 years old..

Not alot of info around, is this a current model, or is it XXXnow?
A friend has one, hasnt used it "4 or 5 years" and I am wondering what it is worth, and what can be done with it..IE is it obsolete...
