RE: Official DB-01 Durga Thread

Cool.... I'm still using the dogbones. Spent too much money on the shocks & slipper. Had some brushless motor & ESC issues. Set me back a bit.

RE: Official DB-01 Durga Thread

Why 501x universals & not the DB01 universals? Are they a different length?

RE: Official RC10T4 Thread

The Spektrum 3.0 (with free receiver) is on eBay (brand new from a store) ichobby Spektrum 3.0

This has the metal geared z590 servo in the box. You can find the Spektrum 3.0 (with an extra...

RE: Official RC10T4 Thread

Then definitely at least get the Spektrum 3.0 radio. Find the one that comes with 1 free receiver (2 total). There is not a better deal anywhere. Any servo with at least 85 inch oz. of torque will...

RE: Official RC10T4 Thread

Well personally, if you are going to enter the world of brushless, LRP is not my favorite motor. I've used Castle, Novak, & Reedy/LRP. The Reedy/LRP is the only one that has failed me so far....

RE: Official RC10T4 Thread

Only thing that broke (well kind of) on our Slashes today was one of the steering servo gears is popping but still steering good. They were ran hard too. T4's didn't break anything, but they cost a...

RE: Official RC10T4 Thread

Ok there. I'm happy for you. Like I said, I owned the 1991 buggy too. Eventually turned it into an Original 10T from using original 10GT parts. My best friend still has the truck (it has all the...

RE: Official RC10T4 Thread

Hey there, I used to have a 1991 RC10 Championship Edition RC10 (first RC to ever buy:D). Yes, I think it will handle a brushless just fine, but remember, the trans ratio is a high 2.21 or something...

RE: Official RC10T4 Thread

Sorry man. I had a B4 & now a T4 and the T4 chassis is longer. Don't think it will fit. Look for a B4 on e-bay until you find a good deal. Don't buy until you find the "good deal". It doesn't have to...

RE: Official DB-01 Durga Thread

No. I used some out of some Associated shock parts that I had.

BUT.....

I took the shocks back apart and took all the limiters out. But, I have not driven it yet to see if it handles the...

RE: Official DB-01 Durga Thread

An update on the Elite 4800 lipo that I bought for mine: I ran 9 minutes during practice and the lipo came off the track at 109 degrees (it was VERY HOT outside - 95 or so degrees) & I put 1700mAh's...

RE: Official DB-01 Durga Thread

I'm using the 17 tooth pinion that comes with the kit on a Novak Velociti 6.5 (which is very close in power to a Castle 5700). Might want to get an extra 3Racing spur gear from Stella models while...

RE: Official DB-01 Durga Thread

I promise you will thank me later if you skip the 501x dampers & front one way and use the money to go brushless. I don't see how you can get a decent brushed motor & ESC for a lot less than $130. I...

RE: Official DB-01 Durga Thread

Set one up exactly like Extreme RC Cars May issue. They used a Sidewinder 5700 combo (good chassis picture of how to mount the electronics in there). Use whatever cheap radio you want, just make...

RE: Official DB-01 Durga Thread

Hey GreGY_1, did you get a 4800 lipo for your buggy? If so, how do you mount it in your buggy? I'm talking about the lumps on the chassis.
