Raptor 30

As well as the tools listed above, you'll probably also want to invest in a pitch gauge and possibly a high point balancer. A set of Japanese Industrial Standard screwdrivers also helps make...

servos ?

8103 (3810) is a nice radio. The 811 servos should be alright for a 30 size machine, but if you want to put them in a 60 heli later, they won't be able to do much more than hover. For a 60 size...

Although I do own an 8103, I do not have a Datasafe. I do quite a bit of PC programming in my free time, however, and would be happy to see what kind of info I could obtain from these files if...

You may be able to cut a small slot in the top of the screw using a dremmel cut-off wheel and then remove it with a flat head screwdriver. Of course, this will only work if you can reach the screw...

8311 or 8411?

8411 has the higher torque of the two. 8311 is basically the heli replacement for the 8411 due to some problems found with the 8411's in heli operation.

Time to buy (servo advice needed please)

Sorry about my last post, I was backwards Galifrey. After doing a little extra research, it turns out that the 8311 IS actually the heli replacement for the 8411. On the other hand, however, the...

Time to buy (servo advice needed please)

Actually, the 8311's were replaced with 8411's for heli operations. The 8311's were the ones that were having the problems.

***NOTE***
The above post was made in error. Please see my updated...

I'm running 3 8411's for collective and cyclic, an 811 for throttle and a 502/9253 combo for the tail on my Raptor 60. Can't complain so far.

Raptor ARF or not for a newbie

As far as the young ones go, don't worry about that too much, each step has it's own bag(s) so as long as you finish the step at the end of the night, you won't have to worry about any loose parts. ...

You may have a "bolt on" starter shaft. If this is the case, what you will need to do is remove the rubber and rubber holder cup from the starter and then attach your starter shaft directly to the...
