RE: Weird Nano CP control issue

OK, I think that makes sense, I neglected the effect of the computer. Since I'm holding the heli down, it's confusing the gyro system. Since the A3X doesn't sense movement, it doesn't tell the...

Weird Nano CP control issue

I've had my Nano (BNF) for about 24 hours now but never got a chance to give it its maiden flight until this morning.... first CP heli though I'm pretty good with a single-rotor (MSR).

Using my...

RE: New Blade MQX

I hadn't given the mQX any thought until I got an email about it today I figured that e-flite must be trying to compete with some others in the market, but who else makes quads?

After youtubing...

RE: New Blade mcpx !!!!!!!

I think it's going to be very sturdy based on its size and weight. Not much bigger or heavier than an mSR and I've bashed that thing a number of times, and Ihaven't even needed to install any of my...

Only $180 for the BNF version, I know I'll be getting one! Looks like it's a bit bigger than an MSR but not as big as a 120 SR.

RE: I'm back, with Blade SR!

I've been flying my MSR since October and haven't broken anything yet (knocking on wood).  I have some spare parts standing by though.

The good thing about the smaller choppers is that they are...

RE: New Blade SR: collective pitch!

Here's a cool video Ifound, the SRperforming some more advanced acrobatics including inverted takeoffs.http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/teeth_smile.gif

RE: New Blade SR: collective pitch!

The only thing that bugs me about the SR, and this is solely based on youtube videos, is the "angry bumblebee" sound of the tail motor, especially when pirouetting quickly with a DX6i/DX7i radio.
It...

RE: LiPo went puffy... switching back to NiMh

Also Ican't believe the Rhino batteries are 10 bucks for a LiPo... are those some cheap made-in-China batteries or something?

LiPo went puffy... switching back to NiMh

I've got an RC18R with a Sidewinder 5400kv.
Iordered my Apogee 2S LiPo battery (1500mAh/7.4V) last summer (just a couple months before Apogee went out of business.... not that I'm bitter).
Anyway,...

RE: Blade MSR banks right in forward flight

I had the same problem, with the MSR banking right on forward flight.

I solved it by setting up a mix in my DX6i transmitter which applies about 15% left aileron mixed with the elevator.  I forget...

RE: just purxhased:Blade msr

And the single MOST IMPORTANT RULE EVER cut the throttle just before...

RE: New Blade SR: collective pitch!

According to the video if you bind it to a DX6i and set the curves right, it'll do 3D acrobatics "way better than a CP Pro 2."

Interesting.  Oh yeah and I want one.

RE: New Blade SR: collective pitch!

Sounds good... is it possible to set it up more aggressively when the pilot becomes comfortable with its capabilities?

Also, PLEASE tell me there will be a bind-n-fly version!

MSR occasionally jittery... like a nervous puppy

So far my MSRhas been holding up pretty well. Just some basic trim adjustments and I had to set up a mix on my DX6i to compensate for the heli wanting to slide to the right when going forward.

RE: About ready to give up on the mSR

This might be a stupid question, but what are the symptoms of a flybar wearing out?

I've only had some basic trim issues with mine, but I did order some spare parts sitting in a box for when the...

RE: Whats your setting for MSR on a dx6i

OK I've been spending some time with the settings in helicopter mode on the DX6i.

One thing I noticed with the MSR is that it drifts slightly to the right when the elevator stick is pushed...
