What up guys ........been awhile on here...since my Sv eat a concrete wall 50+ and the gps survived lol ...since then i ordered a replacement hull from OSE, and gathering or making parts for it...

Usually with stuff like that, it has to be cleaned really good, and flux helps allot....when you join stuff......AS a plumber i know lol...

MY best RUN was My LAST run ..........lol gps 50+mph into concrete SPLAt.........CRASH WAS CAUSED BY THE WATTUP METER-land check was fine...it stuck the boat on full trottle after maybe 2min and...

Im testing some different setups,but i have both turn fins raised up at 50deg ,got a tool to measure angles.....i have not checked COG yet,
also hows the rudder angle? forward brings nose down,up...

i have 4x sets of turnigy packs, and they are great.....i even ran them down to 2.85v by accident,lipos cutt off was wrong setting and they charged up fine , as for the trimmed boat

Came bck from the lake now, redid all the guts of the boat resealed everything far as wires, droped the k40 prop to a octura 4/38 it ran decent but the start offs rely bad, updates later ....

living in a big city like LA, has drawbacks far as places close to run your boat...theres plenty of sky around so that aint a biggie for a plane all you need is some dirt to take off.......the LA...

yes , he got his gear before some of the prices droped....his gona dry it out and see what works still and then put that gear into a Cat.....or titan 40 i like the Cat better tho.....the white boat...

Just got bck from the lake.....first time i seen a high speed boat hit a concrete wall around 50mph+ , sincei was hauling 47mph next to it ,

lol ...this is the first year im boss, and its allot headache i own a HvaC,plummbing company...so i work with water and like to be on the water...lol least with my SV.......im starting a new project...

Got bck from the Lake after the new setup....... 2700kv motor , 100a esc,(no water cooling) ,new 30-40c 4k lipos ,k40 prop and some other stuff i trew in there....its the MACGYVER SV lol........i did...

get few of the CF props to play with there 6$ , and pretty decent .....

Anyone know what the max speed seen in the SV hull??  i dont think much more then 40mph....     im thinking picking up...

Just got bck from the lake, had 2 nice air maneuvers.... going around 30mph ,gust wind helped launch the SV in the air about 5+ feet did a 420 in the air and landed fine kept going, my friend wasnt...

i noticed about 3+ mph on the gps , what supprized me that , i had a better gps numbers witht he stock prop on the SV then the K42 , but the stock prop cavitates too much at take off, while the k42...

Went out today and tested the system temps with the K45 prop ...i usual y run a K42..the bigger prop rose temps by 12-17 depending how hot its outside, cause the lake water temp was 86deg !! LoL the...

The rescue boat i got has no rudder, twin props for steering ...which i actually think its better since it can turn around well at slow speeds......
i also leave it in the truck most the time with 2...

for this very reason, i made "The rescue boat "  i pad 30$ on sale it does 12mph ,with FM radio decent reach   .....it pulls  5ft nylon line with floaters to snag the boat[8D]   last time the rescue...

i test everything stock good few time to get base numbers, and i go from there ,...

i have a 19v 2700kv motor in my boat , i usualy run 30c/5k - 2x2s =charged16.4v  .....can i run a 3s+2s = 21v and take it easy with my 100A esc (../../../../buynow/keywordclick.cfm?bid_id=5300) or  ...
