EVERY HULL DOES.
I'm sorry, I really don't mean to be offensive, but your post only shows your (lack of) experience.
The highest quality, most expensive RC boat hulls in the world need work to...

Ryan's right, that's a lot of power. The charger I use is capable of it. It's the iCharger 4010 DUO. 40A x2 or 70Ax1 output. To do this though, you need a very robust power supply and input...

This does seem like an accurate statement for someone in this thread, but I don't think it's me. I have probably built more twin catamarans than anyone in the country, and I have plenty of video,...

RE: 56

For anyone reading this thread, I've had hulls from both Rick at CRC and Fighter Cat. Both are great for hulls for what they cost. Fighter Cat makes smaller hulls, and Rick makes the larger stuff....

RE: I Will Ask Again..........Any GOOD Large Scale Electrics Out There???

Google "Keith Bradley Boats" also.
You should be able to find some work of mine. Current build time is estimated at about 6 weeks. 41" boat with twins (and lots of carbon fiber)that will do 70+ in...

RE: I Will Ask Again..........Any GOOD Large Scale Electrics Out There???

Nothing out there RTR. Something like that would be better to build yourself, or have someone build for you. A boat that size, if done correctly, is far too expensive to be of interest to companies...

100+mph Delta Force Catamaran

Hey fellas,

I wanted to share a vid of my DF Explorer Cat. It's running just over 100mph and stable, with the exception of this crash that I caught on tape. There was no significant damage, except...

First look at the Fightercat Fantasm 41" Catamaran!

I finally got a chance (and some weather) to take out my freshly built 41" Fighter Cat "Fantasm". This run is on 10s, but there will be 11s-12s runs in the future as well. MPH in this vid was low...

RE: 40 - 50 mm low pitch props ( power over speed)

You can use standard 3/16" props on a 4mm shaft if you make bushings out of 3/16" K & S brass tubing. This will open up a lot more options and is very inexpensive.

RE: RC Calculator - Est. Speed / What Power Class Your System fits in to

Most of my setups are 2P, but that one is not. Irun a pair of Neu 46/92C 5000mah 4s lipos in series. They are awesome performing batteries, and Irun my wires as short as possible with 8mm bullet...

RE: RC Calculator - Est. Speed / What Power Class Your System fits in to

Ryan:

In the "prop pitch (mm)" box, do you want final pitch? For example a m440 would be 40 x 1.4 = 56mm...

I know we came up with two different speeds for the boat I gave you an example of...

Hey guys, just thought I would post my setup since it's a little different from the norm. 2200kv outrunner, Scorpion 120 Commander water cooled esc, prather s215 s&b, single 4s 5000mah 46/92C lipo:...

RE: Traxxas Spartan BLEW UP (2nd Time)

Don't they sell the boat with cheap 3000mah nihm stick packs? I would consider 5300mah dynamite lipos to be a huge upgrade.

Lack of (ability to)discharge required current can shorten the life of...

RE: All-new brushless Traxxas boat in June, 6S capable, 50mph!!

A lot of people run 5s on that motor too. Many do it with the stock esc, though a better one would be wise. May have to go with a metal prop also...maybe a prather s215, s220, or octura x442...I...

RE: All-new brushless Traxxas boat in June, 6S capable, 50mph!!

The delay is DEFINITELY due to more than the name change. No way changing the name would take that long. That would take less than a week. The boat had problems, no doubt. Problems with the esc,...
