RE: Best clutch for my truggy.

No need for those fancy, overpriced, clutches. Order a set of answer shoes and you're set. They hook and last, that's all that matters.

RE: truggy pics.........

Yea, I couldn't figure out what else to do with it. I didn't have an antenna tube and I don't want it sticking up out the body. It was holding fine there but I have since changed my radio to the DX3R...

There's nothing wrong with it, but it's not going to compete with the Mugen, Xray, Losi, Associated,...

RE: Associated RC8T RTR or Losi eight T 2.0 RTR

The Losi comes much better equipped and both will need new servos quickly. I'm not a Losi fan, but I'd take it over the Associated easily. Better radio, better motor, starter box.

RE: Official XRAY XT8 2009 SPEC THREAD ! ! !

From what I hear, the RB B9 is the same motor as the C6 so it should be killer. I'm running the RB Killer 9 and love it. I've been breaking drive pins too, I got to get that figured out.

RE: IS THE LOSI 8IGHT T 2.0 RTR WORTH THE CASH

A good friend of mine bought the Losi RTR truggy. I will say that it's the best RTR I've ever seen and very capeable right out of the box. The only issue with it is the servos are complete junk. I...

RE: secound hand nitro problems

Lean it out just enough so that it stays running and go through the break in. After you run a few tanks through it, start leaning it more and more until it's right. There are several different...

RE: secound hand nitro problems

Sounds like it's way too rich. You need to turn the low speed needle in 1/8th of a turn at a time until it gets better.

RE: Official XRAY XT8 2009 SPEC THREAD ! ! !

Cool, I anticipate that the front tires will balloon a little more. I run AKA tires and their foams are pretty dense and more resistant to the balloon effect. I will get to run it this weekend and...

RE: Official XRAY XT8 2009 SPEC THREAD ! ! !

7,10,3 should be a good setup. I was running 10,15,3 and changed it to 5,10,5. I talked to Jason Branham and he said thats what he runs at our local track. I'm really wanting to try it to see how it...

RE: any info on this engine?

Those are great motors for the price. I've seen a few of them run and they are fast. A guy at my local track won the buggy class with one last weekend that he just finished breaking in the day...

RE: Official XRAY XT8 2009 SPEC THREAD ! ! !

Yea, shocks are in the position that the manual shows for the inital build. I just changed the weight of the diff oils, can't wait to see what that does for it. The truck would turn great when off...

RE: Official XRAY XT8 2009 SPEC THREAD ! ! !

I love my XT8 so far. It out handles everything I've ever driven and I haven't even touched the setup on it yet. I went an raced for the first time last weekend and had only driven the truck 3 laps...

RE: Plaese help me decide which truggy/buggy is right for me?

I'm not sold on the Losi yet. There's no class to race it in and there's more parts to break with that on board starter. The truck is going to be marketed towards beginners who don't know how to tune...

RE: Which one to get?

I've been saying that since the frist time I saw a SC truck run. I can't believe how they have taken over the 1/10th world and the stadium truck doesn't seem to exist anymore. I don't see the appeal...

RE: 8ight t 2.0 vs. mbx6t, which one??

Mugen all the way. I recently did my homework because I was buying a new truggy. It came down to the MBX6T and the Xray XT8. The quality of those 2 kits are far above anything else out there. I ended...

RE: Witch is a better Truggy all around ?

Well I finally got my hands on my new Xray XT8 09 Spec. It was obvious almost immediately that the quality of this kit is far above anything I have ever worked on. The plastic parts don't feel like...

RE: truugy selection!

See a few of the HB8s at the track and they do pretty well. Only thing bad I've heard is the plastice wears fast and becomes sloppy.

RE: truugy selection!

The bulkhead stripped and both screws that hold the rear toe plate on backed out causing the toe plate to fall off and the hinge pins to fall out. I put it back together, everything snugged up fine,...

RE: Witch is a better Truggy all around ?

I'm extremely meticulous with my cars and every part gets inspected and cleaned regularly. The track I run at has a couple of brutal jumps and it will quickly expose any weak part on a car. Hence the...

RE: truugy selection!

save a little more money and get the Xray XT8 or Mugen MBX6T. The quality of those 2 are far superior than any of the other brands. I have an RC8, it's a good car but needs quite a bit of attention....

RE: Witch is a better Truggy all around ?

I have owned and raced Losi and Associated. I currently own an Associated RC8 and have really liked it. I wanted the Losi 8 2.0 but decided against it as their quality has gone down some in recent...
