I would use a small rubber O-ring instead of a rubber band to hold the prop. They are hard to stretch over the prop put should keep it on tight.

Thanks. It has been an interesting adventure. I had tried the motor in the nose and then the tail but I had problems with too much weight at both ends. The mid motor design works great.
