Depends on what you're doing with it. I'm using 11.1v on a tiny 1/10 car with a 35t pinion and 55t spur. So its gonna scream. Stuff will die.

Rebuilt my car. Adventures in 3s lipo ongoing, but there's snow on the ground now so I'm gonna try an underground parking lot. Added longer softer springs (uneven pavement) and aluminum spring seats...

So...I ran it...and it creamed itself. LOL. Cant keep it straight with the 3s lipo. Tore the tires off the rims. Busted front left spring cup. Rear ball diff grinding and now when i turn one wheel...

BTW, that HPI 35T pinion was a pain to get meshed.

Hmmm. Went to the EC3 cause i thought they'd be as efficient as the deans. Deans that much more efficient? How much shorter should the leads be? I know i'm having some bottleneck somewhere causing...

Running a 3s Lipo with the 4800kv brushless kit from a losi speed-t. A little cogging, but so far its good in testing. Havn't hit the tarmac yet because i'm waiting on a steering servo to ship, but...

The 3racing motor mount took that gearing with no space issues? I have the FRP chassis. If my Losi esc can handle that gearing it should scream with the 3s lipo 4800kv motor combo.

Man. Only found two similar adapters, One for the HPI Sprint 2 and another for the Tamiya TB-03. Found a ton of various 64 pitch Pinions, but Spurs seem to me few and far between...and all around...

Parts may be fine. Check your radio system. Calibrate your esc. I had that hapen to me once with an uncalibrated esc. it might have a button on it to do that. What frequency your radio on as well?
