RE: engine cleaner

I have an antifreeze pot in the garage and have used it tons. Completely disassemble the engine and leave it overnight, clean anything tough with a toothbrush, and it will be like new. I found a new...

RE: thunder tiger extra profile

The arf has sticky-back covering which sucks. It's quite heavy for a profile (about 5.5 lbs). Otherwise it does alright with a strong engine...but nothing like a morris or other good profile.

RE: 30 size Profile, Fun Fly, 3D?

Morris Pen Knife.
Great with an OS 32. Very touchy, but extremely agile.

RE: Profile G202???

If you are looking for a really good funfly, I wouldn't recommend this plane. It weighs about 5 - 5.5 pounds, so its quite heavy for a profile. It will hover with a 46, but its not that big on 3D. It...

Real Time Air Speed Indicator

If you're looking for interest, ask in the extreme speed section. I think alot of people would like one of these since it can often be hard to get ahold of a radar gun.

Real Time Air Speed Indicator

I think the best design (besides real-time) would be a unit on the plane that records the top airspeed acheived and shows it on an lcd (on the unit in the plane). Just to check out how fast you can...

Build your own PBF (Pizza Box Flyer, Flying Pizza Box)

Man I still can't believe how it just kept climbing. I have another Fox 25 that I finally got to run tonight, so my Dr Pepper PBF will be flying this weekend. You can use that if your 40 isn't ready....

I'll be out there tommorow soon as school's out. I gotta try the tent frame thing. You know I'd bet we could think up alot of cool PBF competitions for the next funfly.

cheap begginer plane?

Assuming you want a glow-powered plane, I'd say Tower Hobbies. You can get a complete combo with the Avistar or Superstar pretty cheap. Or look in the classifieds here on RCU.

Hovering in RealFlight Sim

Hey has anybody else hovered the Harrier on RealFlight? I know that sounds stupid at first, but I mean vertically, like you would a funfly. :) I can flip it up straight and keep it in a vertical...

Servo performance after a crash?

I've never had a problem. If they are physically in good shape - no gear damage, etc, they should be fine. But if you wanna be really safe, just save them to put in an older plane.

Plane and Heli

From what I hear, the best in that field is probably the HobbyZone Aerobird. It's 3-channel, retail $150 I think. If you do get that you should also get the upgrade tail feather set ($15 or so)....
