Well, i turned up at the field once to find my WOT4's tail split from the rudder to forward of the 'plane. Not wanting to use glue and make a proper repair impossible, out came the tape.

Why do the AMA enforce an exact limit on what can be flown? Surely the weight of the model is not all that...

You could use a standard servo, just disconnect the potentiometer (sp?) and remove the plastic tabs that limit travel. The servo has no idea that the output is moving, so it just keeps on going until...

Our club has a 5 up at a time limit (although sometimes ignored) fortunatly (!) our field has a fence at each end of the 100ft runway, so no 40%er's or large scale in the sky! Heli's have to go on...

You can run RC gear on 6v to speed up the servos, for that you need a 6v pack (which has 5 cells instead of 4). For the 6v battery you need a 6v charger!
