RE: Who here is tried of Electric rc

Don't worry about him ~ he's probably one of those guys that thinks tuning is childsplay because all he's worked on are RTR-kit motors, or never traveled to a race and found the humidty or altitude...

RE: EZrun 8.5T 60A for SC10..

You need to remember you're running some kind of pinspike while he's stuck with those no-traction-specials. ;)

RE: EZrun 8.5T 60A for SC10..

If you're just running it up and down the street where traction is at a premium, they yeah, you're right.
If you're running it on a track you'd be "King of the Donuts" ~~~ we have three of you guys...

RE: New brushless motor!

He might be saying that ~but do you honestly think that he'd tell you "they're just as fast as Castle" or that "they're almost as good as..."??? ;)

RE: Lipo charger

IMHO, discharge them to 3.5v and you'll be fine.
(again, if you want to be persnickety, go to the instruction sheet that was included with your batteries or check the manufacturer's website for what...

RE: Losi 1/18 mini desert buggy

OK, my method for tightening them ~~ I tighten them by hand until "snug" and use a wrench to tighten them another 1/4 turn. Problem is that people start off by using a wrench and tighten them as hard...

RE: Who here is tried of Electric rc

I think he was exaggerating, and meanwhile you're getting a little harsh in your reply ~~ for I think his point was that he didn't have the patience for constantly tuning nitros, and anyone that's...

RE: Lipo charger

I guess I mis-stated that, I'll go back and correct ~ but I definately wasn't meaning dumping them completely.

Each manufacturer of LiPOs are different, but somewhere about 3.2volts per cell.

RE: Lipo charger

Only if you're storing them, as they should not be stored with a full charge on them.
So if they're only sitting till tomorrow or the next day, don't worry about it ~ but if you don't know when...

RE: Losi mini late model good? bad?

Again, it's a matter of opinion relative to what you're going to do. If you're into oval racing, and planning on doing that, then the LateModel is probably a better option. But like I said, if you...

RE: Losi 1/18 mini desert buggy

Those little krappy plastic "oil" shocks are what we refer to as "sorta-shocks" ~ being as they're at least better than the old friction-shocks that come with the mini-t. Whatdaya expect for plastic?...

RE: EZrun 8.5T 60A for SC10..

If you want to be a donut-king, then geta 8.5.
If you want a "driveable/controllable" truck, then get nothing faster than a 13.5 (10.5 if you're "skilled").

RE: The Official Traxxas Slash short-course race truck

What you're experiencing is not a "glitch," but instead what would be called "cogging" or that some people refer to as studdering.
It comes as a result of attempting to use NiMH packs with a...

RE: Wheel turn in on slash

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's more of a "cheap RTR servo issue" than anything.
