why don't you try Frank's Mosquito Boat Hobbies. I know they make a pretty nice fiberglass swift boat, available as a kit or hull alone.

ORCAdoesn't stand for anything. It is the scientific name (genus) for killer whales

Killer whales kill sharks that is why the boat was named that.

It's looking very good.

I agree with you about fittings. I prefer scratch building and I take pride in making everything including the fittings, although you can buy some really nice things...
